VIDA Weddings understands that plans may change because of circumstances that are out of our control. With the rise of COVID-19, (also known as Coronavirus) and the increased levels of concern, our number one priority is the health and wellbeing of all the members of our community.
VIDA Weddings has taken measures to ensure we do our part for our safety and yours. Moving forward, the following changes will be implemented to our policy, effective immediately:

1) Hygiene Care
Our health and yours are of the outmost importance therefore, we will take extra precaution toward proper hygiene. We will take any opportunity to wash our hands properly, refrain from touching anything that is not our property and keep a safe distance from everyone. We understand that this may not be ideal in certain situations, but we will do our part as best as we can to still deliver the quality you expect and know of VIDA Weddings. 

2) Sickness/Wellbeing
If for whatever reason we become sick, it will be our responsibility to ensure we have a replacement from our team in place and give you sufficient notice. If by chance we cannot find a team member that can take over, we will then find another company at no additional cost.

3) Cancellation/Postponing of an event
We understand that this situation is unique and cannot be controlled at this time. Therefore, in the event that you decide to cancel or postpone, due to COVID-19, we will do our part to work with you with the following considerations:

• If you choose to cancel, the paid retainer cannot be refunded. Therefore, 50% of the retainer can be used towards any of our services. Valid up to one (1) year from the original event date.
• If choose to postpone, the total invoice amount is valid for up to 1 year from the date of the invoice.
• If the scope on your event changes, we will revise the contract and invoice on a case-by-case basis.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and its development and will follow the recommendations from both the Ministry of Health and the BC Government. Likewise, we will update this policy and our clients as needed. I appreciate your understanding and your patience.
